Initial Set-Up
Before you tackle your initial concept you must complete the following:
Choose which format you will use to complete your 3.5 Pre-Production;
Set up a google calendar/production schedule:
This will be essential to help keep you on track and make sure that you do have scheduling conflicts during the production phase. Sharing this with your group and teacher will help you stay on track and be in constant communication. When things ultimately need to shuffle around due to unforeseen circumstances, a digital calendar will make rescheduling an easier and automatic process.
There will be checkpoints where your teacher will look at your production schedule to make sure you are on track, so please be diligent in keeping this up to date.

You CAN collaborate on the preproduction if you are working in a group as long as you follow the rules set out here. Here's how you can both collaborate on the same preproduction website once you have set it up. Following is a breakdown of which tasks you can do as a team and which ones need to be done individually. For the individual tasks, you need to CLEARLY mark who has done what:
- Exploring the Brief - can collaborate - Research blog - individual posts needed - Concept - can collaborate - Script - can collaborate - Treatment - individual posts needed - Shooting Script or Annotated Script - can collaborate - divide the script up between the group. - Other preproduction activities - release forms, casting list, location details, etc. - can collaborate |
